Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree from a recognized university with GPA 3.0+.
• Five+ years piping engineering experience preferred.
• Experience performing pipe stress analysis using PC-based tools (Autopipe preferred).
• Familiarity with ASME B31.1, B16.5, AISC, and AWS standards.
• STAAD Pro used for pipe support analysis; includes hand calculations for structural elements.
• Open Plant/Bentley knowledge is desirable.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; internal transfers possible for visa holders.

Responsibilities

• Issue piping drawings for project-specific applications.
• Review, control and own 3D piping models.
• Perform pipe stress analysis and pipe support calculations.
• Write technical specifications as required.
• Coordinate with piping fabricators and insulation vendors.
