Job summary

Caliberr Staffing is seeking a skilled Fluid Power Technician to install, assemble, maintain, and diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The role requires interpreting fluid power diagrams and working independently with a strong safety and quality mindset.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the fluid power field, ability to read schematics, and experience with hydraulic components, piping, and system troubleshooting. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in the fluid power industry.
• Vocational training is a plus.
• Journeyman's card preferred.
• Proficient in schematic reading and fluid power symbols.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Construct machinery per engineering specs and client needs.
• Install hydraulic and pneumatic hoses, tubing, and piping.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in fluid power circuits.
• Analyze and translate schematics and blueprints.
• Identify hardware fittings and fluid power symbols.
• Record technical challenges and report design modifications.
• Work independently and communicate build status to team.
• Uphold ISO compliance and quality standards.
• Support cost-efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient workspace.
