100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fluid Power Technician in Lake Orion, MI to support assembly, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. The role emphasizes safety, quality and independence with some travel and long-term contract potential.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in fluid power, a high school diploma, and hands-on experience reading schematics and blueprints. Hands-on tool familiarity and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years of fluid power experience required.
  • Related vocational education preferred.
  • Journeyman's card preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of:Schematic interpretation, Pipe threading, Fitting identification, Fluid power symbols.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble equipment according to designs, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Install pneumatic and hydraulic piping, tubing, and hoses.
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic circuits safely and effectively.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and fluid power blueprints and schematics.
  • Identify fittings and fluid power symbols; communicate design changes and issues.
  • Document and communicate design changes, issues, and problems throughout the build process.
  • Complete assigned tasks with minimal direct supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Support ISO and quality standards; ensure cost, quality, and schedule objectives.

Fluid Power TechnicianLocation: Lake Orion, MIPay Rate: $25- $30/hourEmployment Type: Long-term, open-ended contract with potential for direct hireBenefits: PTO and optional benefits availablePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Fluid Power Technician to support the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
