Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Fluid Power Technical Support Representative to join our US service centers. You will provide technical and sourcing assistance, build relationships with US Service Centers, and support business growth via phone and email.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in fluid power, strong mechanical and drawing-reading skills, and experience with MS Office. Open to all Applied Service Center locations in the US, PST and MST time zones preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years fluid power experience including practical applications (hydraulic and/or pneumatic).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and system schematics.
• Strong written & verbal communication in English.
• Familiar with MS Office and remote collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Fluid Power Specialists and internal teams to present fluid power solutions.
• Provide services to internal customers: interchanges, obsolescence replacement, product recommendations, quotes, and support shop build initiatives.
• Provide presale technical assistance and product information to internal and external customers.
• Act as a local technical fluid power expert within an assigned Service Center.
