Job description

  • Join a nationally recognized litigation powerhouse with a track record of over a billion dollars in settlements and verdicts across State and Federal Courts
  • Work on high-stakes, mission-driven cases — FLSA collective actions, wage and hour class actions, and systemic wage abuse litigation that genuinely changes workers’ lives
  • Collaborate with elite attorneys, including former DOJ and FBI personnel, in a firm that takes on the biggest firms in the country and wins
  • Performance-based bonus structure that rewards your impact and contributions
  • Grow your career in a firm that actively invests in thought leadership, CLEs, and your professional visibility
  • Three office locations with openings in Jersey City, NJ; Wayne, PA; and an upcoming Washington, D.C. office — rare flexibility to find your best fit within a high-caliber team
  • Real courtroom experience: this is not a document review role — you will litigate, argue, and lead
Location:

This role is based on-site at one of three exciting locations — Jersey City, NJ, Wayne, PA, or our upcoming Washington, D.C. office. While some flexibility exists, this is a team that thrives in person and moves fast together.

Note:

Candidates must have 5+ years of federal court FLSA litigation experience with substantive, hands‑on case management. This is a non‑negotiable requirement. Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction is required. Multi‑state admission is a strong plus.

About Us

We are a Confidential Employer — an aggressive, methodical litigation firm with a nationally recognized track record handling complex plaintiff-side litigation, including wage and hour class actions, whistleblower cases, False Claims Act matters, and commercial litigation. Our team has tried cases to verdict in state and federal courts across the country, and we interface with the Department of Justice on select matters. We move fast, we fight hard, and we win. If you want a litigation career with real stakes and real impact, this is your firm.

Job Description
  • Lead FLSA collective actions and Rule 23 class actions from intake through resolution, managing all phases of federal court litigation
  • Conduct fact investigations and client interviews in collaboration with our intake team to build strong, well‑developed cases from day one
  • Draft and argue pleadings, motions, pretrial submissions, and discovery across multiple jurisdictions
  • Take and defend depositions and represent clients at court hearings and oral arguments
  • Develop damages models alongside experts and consultants to maximize recovery for clients
  • Drive strategic settlement discussions, including mediation and direct negotiation with opposing counsel
  • Contribute to firm thought leadership through articles, CLEs, and webinars that raise your profile and the firm's
  • Manage a dynamic caseload with urgency and strategic precision, working independently while collaborating with a high-performing team
Qualifications
  • J.D. with active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (multi‑state strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of substantive federal court FLSA litigation experience — plaintiff-side or in‑house/solo backgrounds welcome for the right candidate
  • Demonstrated experience with collective certification, class certification, and class motion practice
  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
  • Strong ability to manage complex caseloads independently while working collaboratively
  • Willingness and ability to handle cases nationwide
  • Senior‑level candidates strongly preferred, particularly those with FLSA depth and federal trial experience
