Our client, a well-established law firm, seeks an experienced FLSA / Wage & Hour Attorney for a fully remote role based anywhere in the United States. The attorney will focus on wage and hour litigation under FLSA with 5+ years of employment litigation experience.

The position involves handling complex wage and hour matters, managing class actions, and advising on compliance and risk in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of employment litigation experience.
• Strong experience with FLSA and wage and hour matters.
• Experience independently managing matters through litigation stages.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice.
• Active admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• Collective or class action experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking an experienced FLSA / Wage & Hour Attorney to join its growing employment practice. This is a fully remote opportunity and the attorney can be based anywhere in the United States.

The role will focus primarily on wage and hour litigation, including matters arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of employment litigation experience with meaningful exposure to wage and hour matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex FLSA and wage and hour litigation
• Manage individual, collective, and class action matters
• Handle claims involving unpaid wages, overtime, employee classification, and related wage and hour issues
• Draft substantive motions and other litigation filings
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Manage written discovery and develop case strategy
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
• Advise clients regarding wage and hour compliance and litigation risk
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys across the firm's employment practice

Qualifications

• 5+ years of employment litigation experience
• Strong experience with FLSA and wage and hour matters
• Experience independently managing matters through various stages of litigation
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice

Compensation

• Base salary of up to $300,000, depending on experience
