Job summary

Magnera Corporation in Augusta, KY is seeking an on-site manufacturing line operator to directly guide daily line activities toward productivity and quality goals.

You will train operators per work instructions, monitor product and packaging quality, and ensure safety policies are followed on the production floor. Prior manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and knowledge of extrusion, lamination, or conversion basics.
• Strong computer aptitude and experience.
• Current forklift operator’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work activities on the line to meet productivity and production goals.
• Train operators in accordance with work instructions and training plan.
• Ensure product and packaging quality for all materials shipped.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures on the line.
• Evaluate new operators following the OJTs.

• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are being followed by line personnel.


• Evaluate new operators following the OJTs.
