Job summary

Magnera Corporation in Augusta, KY is seeking an on-site line operator to direct daily production activities and ensure quality and safety on the line.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Understanding of extrusion, lamination, and/or conversion basics.
• Strong computer aptitude is preferred.
• Forklift operator’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily line activities to meet productivity and production goals.
• Train operators according to work instructions and training plan.
• Ensure product and packaging quality for shipments.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures on the line.
• Evaluate new operators following OJTs.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work activities on the line in order to meet productivity and production goals.


• Training of operators in accordance to work instructions and training plan.


• Ensure product and packaging quality of all materials packaged for shipment.


• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are being followed by line personnel.


• Evaluate new operators following the OJTs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED


• Minimum one year manufacturing experience


• Demonstration of leadership ability and an understanding of the basics of extrusion, lamination, and/or conversion


• Strong computer aptitude and experience


• Current Berry Global forklift operator’s license may be required
