Job summary

Magnera Corporation is seeking a skilled manufacturing operator for our Augusta, KY line. You will direct daily work activities on the line to meet productivity and production goals, train operators, and ensure packaging quality and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of manufacturing experience, and demonstrated leadership abilities, plus familiarity with extrusion, lamination, or conversion processes. Forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year manufacturing experience.
• Demonstration of leadership ability and an understanding of the basics of extrusion, lamination, and/or conversion.
• Strong computer aptitude and experience.
• Current Berry Global forklift operator’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work activities on the line in order to meet productivity and production goals.
• Training of operators in accordance to work instructions and training plan.
• Ensure product and packaging quality of all materials packaged for shipment.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are being followed by line personnel.
• Evaluate new operators following the OJTs.
