Honey Green, a Missouri cannabis cultivation and manufacturing company based in Joplin, is seeking a Flower Processing & QC Support I. You will work hands-on with trimming, sorting, grading, weighing, cleaning, and careful material handling while learning what acceptable flower quality looks like and how to protect it through the finishing process.

The role emphasizes reliable, detail-oriented work in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older and able to obtain and maintain any Missouri cannabis facility credential required for the position.
• Ability to understand and follow written SOPs, work instructions, safety requirements, sanitation practices, and documentation standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly, work effectively with others, and raise questions or concerns promptly when work, safety, quality, or compliance is unclear.
• Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and ability to perform repetitive hands-on work at a consistent pace.
• No prior cannabis or industry-specific experience is required; willingness and ability to learn flower processing, operational quality checks, material handling, sanitation, and production documentation are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive cured cannabis material and verify lot/batch identity, weights, and condition.
• Perform flower-processing and QC activities such as trimming, sorting, grading, weighing, and sanitation.
• Inspect flower for quality issues and segregate material as needed.
• Maintain records of production, quality, weight, yield, waste, and inventory.
• Clean and sanitize tools, bins, and work areas per SOPs.
• Support Packaging when trained, while maintaining QC focus.
• Complete tasks using approved methods and seek clarification when unclear.
• Build proficiency through structured training and coaching.
• Perform basic hand-finishing, sorting, staging, weighing, and cleanup after training.
• Learn Honey Green flower-quality standards and escalation guidelines.
• Maintain lot/batch separation and accurate product-record matching.
• Assist with daily room setup and sanitation for next shift.
