DeKalb County Government in Georgia seeks a technician to install and remove flow monitoring equipment in sanitary sewer lines, inspect meters, and retrieve data for the County's Flow and Rainfall Monitoring Program.

Salary Range: $19.00/hour - $26.92/hour Salary Grade: 8 FLSA: Nonexempt
The purpose of this classification is to install and remove flow monitoring equipment within sanitary sewage lines; inspect installed meters; and retrieve data from installed units for the County's Flow and Rainfall Monitoring Program.

High School diploma or GED; one year of experience in construction, maintenance, electrical, electronics, process control wastewater monitoring, and/or compliance activities; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license; and must possess or obtain a State of Georgia Wastewater Collection System Operator license within one year of employment.
