Job summary

BioLegend, Inc. is seeking a QC Associate II in San Diego to support the Quality Control group by testing antibodies and proteins across flow cytometry, IHC/ICC, Western blotting, ELISA, multiplex immunoassays, and functional bioassays.

The candidate will follow SOPs and ISO requirements, perform aseptic cell culture, isolate primary cells, and maintain equipment. They will generate data summaries, help train others, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific discipline.
• 1 year experience with some of the following applications: Flow Cytometry, Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation, Bioassays, ELISA and IHC/ICC.
• 3+ years working experience in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of products in a timely manner.
• Perform aseptic cell culture.
• Isolate primary cells and tissues.
• Perform data analysis and document results.
• Maintain a safe and clean laboratory.
• Assist with troubleshooting projects, generate data summaries.
• Support efficiency and process improvement projects.
• Train others on specific laboratory protocols.
• Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
