Job summary

This full-time, safety-sensitive role involves producing, packing and shipping flour, plus potential forklift operation, preventive maintenance, and strict adherence to food safety and quality policies.

You will maintain records, report issues, work rotating 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., and perform duties in hot or cold conditions around moving equipment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Mechanical inclination for basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Basic computer skills.
• Close visual work on PC and controls; distinguish colors.
• Able to climb up to 100 feet using catwalks and ladders.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for up to 50 feet.
• Able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn daily.
• Comfort working in hot/cold environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Able to work around dust, rotating equipment, noise, and moving lifts.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and work unsupervised or with others.
• Extended shifts and weekends as needed.
• Read, speak, write, and understand Basic English.

Responsibilities

• Produce, pack and ship flour.
• May include driving a forklift or telescoping forklift.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Follow food safety, quality, and process-control policies.
• Maintain required forms and records.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.
