Job summary

Producers Rice in Stuttgart, Arkansas is seeking a Flour Mill Shift Supervisor to oversee producing, packing and shipping flour on rotating 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, operating forklifts, and performing preventive maintenance while adhering to food safety and quality policies. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and strong math, mechanics, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Must be willing and able to supervise employees.
• Must possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Must be mechanically inclined to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Close visual work on PC and controls, determine details, and distinguish colors.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 100 feet using catwalks and ladders.
• Must be willing and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 50 feet as needed.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures, inside and outside the plant for periods.
• Must be willing and able to work in a dust, rotating equipment, noise, and moving lift environment.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must be willing and able to work unsupervised and with others.
• Work extended shifts and weekends as needed.
• Must read, speak, write, and understand Basic English.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety rules.

Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the lead operator or a member of management. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
