The PT may supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, Therapy Aides, and interns; collaborates with physicians and rehab team to design coordinated plans, administers treatments, and ensures discharge planning and home programs for patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Florida.
• Hands-on BLS Card.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Adheres to policies affecting patient rights and safety.
• Keeps a clean and safe environment; reports hazards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and document patient care programs.
• Evaluate patient's status and PT problems using objective and subjective methods.
• Develop and adjust treatment programs based on patient/family needs.
• Consult with physicians and rehab team to design coordinated plans.
• Perform PT interventions and supervise assistants as needed.
• Prepare patient for discharge with home programs and caregiver instruction.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings.
