Job summary

Brooks Rehabilitation in Daytona Beach is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our clinical team. Under supervision, you will evaluate patients, design and implement treatment plans, and educate families for home programs and discharge.

You will collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation staff, supervise PTAs and interns when needed, maintain documentation, and contribute to patient safety and productivity within the department.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Florida.
• Hands-on BLS certification.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Adheres to universal precautions and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan care, evaluate status, and develop treatment programs.
• Consult with physicians and rehabilitation team to design coordinated plans.
• Perform patient treatment using PT interventions and adjust as needed.
• Supervise PTAs, therapy aides, and interns when appropriate.
• Maintain documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans.
• Educate patients and families for home programs and discharge readiness.
• Manage schedule to meet departmental productivity expectations.
