Job summary

Amazon in Florida is hiring a Regional Environmental Manager to lead environmental operational excellence across sites in the region. The role is onsite five days a week with up to 50% travel and a focus on compliance and sustainability initiatives.

You will partner with operations and support teams to implement environmental procedures, drive risk assessments, and develop scalable strategies for future growth and expansion in Florida.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
• Bachelor's Degree in the Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Professional Engineer or equivalent certification.
• Master's degree in the Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field of study.

Responsibilities

• Drive multi-site compliance with air emissions, storm-water, waste, and wastewater regulations.
• Manage reporting to USEPA, EPCRA/SARA, Form R, Tier II and state permits.
• Develop relationships with business partners to support environmental performance.
• Foster an environmentally responsible culture within the organization.
• Lead root cause analyses for environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
