Chrysalis Health is seeking Florida-licensed psychiatrists (MD/DO) to perform juvenile justice evaluations for youth referred by DJJ. This highly flexible, independent contractor role emphasizes evaluation work over ongoing treatment and allows practice integration with private offices or Chrysalis locations.

Ideal candidates bring Board Certification, Florida licensure, and experience in forensic or juvenile populations, plus strong report writing and documentation skills for court-ready

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Florida license as a Psychiatrist (MD).
• Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Experience with psychiatric assessments, forensic evaluations, or juvenile populations preferred.
• Ability to conduct in-person evaluations.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, report writing, and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations for youth referred through the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ).
• Review medical records, psychiatric history, court documentation, and collateral information.
• Develop diagnostic impressions and provide treatment recommendations.
• Complete clear, concise, and court-ready evaluation reports.
