Job summary

Chrysalis Health is seeking Florida-licensed Psychiatrists to perform juvenile justice evaluations (DJJ). This 1099, independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling and competitive per-evaluation compensation.

Work statewide with available referrals and administrative support, focusing on evaluations rather than ongoing treatment. Ideal candidates will hold an active Florida license (MD/DO), be board-certified, and have experience with forensic or juvenile populations.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Florida license as a Psychiatrist (MD).
• Board Certification in Psychiatry preferred or required depending on contract.
• Experience with psychiatric assessments, forensic evaluations, or juvenile populations preferred.
• Ability to conduct in-person evaluations and write clear, court-ready reports.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, report writing, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations for youth referred by DJJ.
• Review medical records, psychiatric history, court documentation, and collateral info.
• Develop diagnostic impressions and provide treatment recommendations.
• Complete clear, concise, and court-ready evaluation reports.
