Job summary

Chrysalis Health is seeking Florida-licensed Psychiatrists (MD/DO) to conduct juvenile justice evaluations as independent contractors. You will perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments for youth referred by the Florida DJJ, review records, and prepare court-ready reports with diagnostic impressions and recommendations.

The role offers flexible scheduling, 1099 contractor status, and ongoing referral opportunities statewide.

Qualifications

• Florida license in psychiatry required.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry preferred.
• Experience with psychiatric assessments and forensic evaluations.
• Ability to conduct in-person evaluations.
• Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
• Professional and timely evaluation completion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations for youth referred by DJJ.
• Review medical records, psychiatric history, court documents and collateral information.
• Develop diagnostic impressions and provide treatment recommendations.
• Prepare clear, concise, and court-ready evaluation reports.
