Job summary

Jobot is seeking an attorney for our Florida office to provide expert counsel to condominium, HOA, and planned development associations on governance and Florida law.

The role includes drafting and negotiating governing documents, reviewing contracts, and representing associations in state courts, with emphasis on risk management and fiduciary duties.

Applicants should have a JD, active Florida Bar, 3–5+ years of experience, and strong drafting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar license
• Experience advising condo/homeowners associations in governance and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert counsel to condominium and homeowners associations on governance and Florida law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate governing documents, contracts, vendor agreements, and board resolutions.
• Represent associations in litigation before Florida state courts.
• Advise on assessments, lien foreclosures, and covenant enforcement.
• Counsel boards on risk management, meeting procedures, and fiduciary duties.
