The ideal candidate will possess strong legal knowledge and excellent client communication skills to advocate for community associations.

The role involves advising on governance, enforcing covenants, drafting governing documents, and representing associations in litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in condominium and HOA law.
• Strong legal knowledge and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload with independence.

Responsibilities

• Draft, interpret, and enforce governing documents and relevant statutes.
• Covenant/rule enforcement and dispute resolution.
• Advise Boards on compliance with state and federal laws and administrative codes.
• Provide guidance on governance, developer turnover, insurance, budgeting, and related matters.
• Attend association meetings and advise on legal matters.
• Oversee board member elections and statutory compliance.
• Prepare amendments to governing documents and legal opinions.
• Review and negotiate vendor contracts.
• Represent associations in litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Pursue collection of delinquent assessments.
• Stay informed on Florida condominium and HOA law changes and provide timely updates.
• Maintain organized case files and manage a high-volume caseload.
