Responsibilities

• Studio Operations & Flower Care: Receiving, unpacking, processing, and properly caring for fresh flowers; keep the studio clean, organized, and presentable; clean vases, buckets, tools, and workspaces; organize supplies, inventory, and floral materials; prepare flowers and supplies for daily orders and events.
• Deliveries & General Assistance: Delivering floral arrangements to residential and corporate clients in Greater Cleveland; assist with loading/unloading and transporting flowers and supplies; run occasional errands; support day-to-day studio operations.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team on a freelance or part-time basis.

This is a hands-on, varied position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment, isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, and is interested in learning different aspects of the floral and event industry.

What You'll Be Doing

Studio Operations & Flower Care

• Receiving, unpacking, processing, and properly caring for fresh flowers.
• Keeping the studio clean, organized, and presentable.
• Cleaning vases, buckets, tools, and workspaces.
• Organizing supplies, inventory, and floral materials.
• Helping prepare flowers, containers, and supplies for daily orders and events.

Deliveries & General Assistance

• Delivering floral arrangements to residential and corporate clients throughout Greater Cleveland.
• Assisting with loading, unloading, and transporting flowers and supplies.
• Running occasional business-related errands.
• Helping with day-to-day tasks to keep the studio running smoothly.

Opportunities to Grow

As FLOWERS Cleveland expands, we'd love to find someone interested in taking on additional responsibilities, including:

• Learning floral design techniques and eventually creating arrangements.
• Assisting with wedding and event preparation, installations, and breakdowns.
• Supporting client relationships, customer service, and sales.
• Helping with retail operations, merchandising, and special projects.
• Assisting with corporate accounts, subscriptions, and larger floral installations.
• Taking on additional operational or leadership responsibilities as the business grows.

** No prior floral experience is required!** We're happy to teach the right person. Experience in retail, hospitality, events, customer service, or other creative fields is a plus.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a flexible, freelance or part-time opportunity with hours based on business needs, deliveries, and scheduled events. There may be opportunities for additional hours and responsibilities as the company grows.

Compensation will be discussed based on experience and responsibilities.
