Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience required.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Strong telephone skills and ability to establish rapport.
• Familiarity with florist business helpful but not mandatory.
• Floral design experience helpful but not mandatory.
• Ability to work as part of a team and complete tasks promptly.
• Typing ability (30 WPM).
• POS experience a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted.
• Stand/walk up to 8 hours daily, up to 10 hours seasonally.
• Flexible schedule; hours include Mon-Fri 7:30am-7pm, Sat 8am-7pm, Sun 10am-4pm; extended hours during holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee essential functions of retail sales associates to help store profitability.
• Interview, hire, manage and terminate employees.
• Complete and audit daily bookwork.
• Report concerns and daily operations to store/district manager.
• Manage flower inventory and profitability.
• Order and manage fresh and non-perishable inventory.
• Maintain housekeeping, signage, and pricing as costs fluctuate.
• Manage customer service and complaints.
• Monitor delivery and shrinkage.
• Complete other duties as required by management; work extended hours during holidays.
