Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a floral team member for Hatfield store to receive, stock, and arrange flowers and assist customers. You will help with inventory from receiving, wrap items, and keep the department clean while providing friendly service.

Shift hours start at 4 hours or more depending on business needs; basic reading/writing and safety compliance are required. Authorized to work in the U.S. is a must.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, and communicate to complete job duties and follow policies.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use or learn the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes for this job.
• Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training.
• Must have keyboard skills.

Responsibilities

• Promptly, at the start of the shift, review the work schedule and prepare for duties.
• Use a U-boat to get inventory from receiving and put inventory into floral cooler.
• Make arrangements, help customers, wrap flowers and plants, and inflate balloons as required.
• Keep the department and cooler clean.
• Track and record loss.
