Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Floral Designer to craft romantic, celebratory, and remembrance arrangements. You will design using seasonal knowledge, maintain organized workspaces, replenish stock, and handle lifting of up to 40 lbs. Helium tanks and POS familiarity help you support customers throughout the day.

You bring strong design skills, knowledge of perishability, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure beautiful, personalized arrangements and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Floral arrangement and design experience with a strong creative eye and attention to detail.
• Familiar with floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements.
• Ability to engage with customers, uncover their needs, and translate ideas into arrangements.
• Capable of maintaining clean, efficient workspaces and managing inventory and supplies.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation and stand/move throughout the day.
• Familiarity with floral tools, helium tanks, and basic point-of-sale systems.
• Willingness to work with fellow associates in a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design stunning arrangements for customers using seasonal knowledge and freshness.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and displays; replenish inventory as needed.
• Handle lifting and moving of floral products up to 40 lbs and use helium tanks when required.
• Provide friendly customer service by understanding needs and translating them into beautiful designs.
• Operate basic POS systems and assist with store tasks as needed.

A Day in The Life:

As a Floral Designer, no two days are ever the same. Customers walk in with dreams-visions of romance, celebration, or heartfelt remembrance-and you bring those visions to life. With creativity and care, you design stunning arrangements using your knowledge of floral seasonality and perishability. You maintain clean, organized workspaces and displays, replenish inventory, and ensure every stem and ribbon is perfectly placed. You'll also lift and move floral products and supplies, often up to 40 lbs., and work with helium tanks and other tools of the trade. If you have a green thumb, a creative eye, and a passion for helping others celebrate life's moments, this is the role for you.
