Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Floral Designer in Boston to transform customer visions into stunning arrangements, using knowledge of seasonality and care.

You will keep workspaces clean, replenish stock, and ensure displays are perfectly presented while assisting customers with design ideas.

Qualifications

• Experience in floral arrangement and design with a strong creative eye and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements.
• Ability to engage with customers, uncover their needs, and translate ideas into beautiful arrangements.
• Capable of maintaining clean, efficient workspaces and managing inventory and supplies.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand/move throughout the day.
• Familiarity with floral tools, helium tanks, and basic POS systems.
• Willingness to work as part of a team to support store operations.

Responsibilities

• Design stunning arrangements based on customer visions and occasions.

A Day In The Life

As a Floral Designer, no two days are ever the same. Customers walk in with dreams—visions of romance, celebration, or heartfelt remembrance—and you bring those visions to life. With creativity and care, you design stunning arrangements using your knowledge of floral seasonality and perishability. You maintain clean, organized workspaces and displays, replenish inventory, and ensure every stem and ribbon is perfectly placed. You’ll also lift and move floral products and supplies, often up to 40 lbs., and work with helium tanks and other tools of the trade. If you have a green thumb, a creative eye, and a passion for helping others celebrate life’s moments, this is the role for you.

• Floral Design Expertise: Experience in floral arrangement and design, with a strong creative eye and attention to detail.
• Product Knowledge: Familiar with floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements.
