Job summary

Safeway is seeking a creative Floral Clerk to brighten our store and customers’ days. You’ll care for and merchandise fresh flowers and plants, create arrangements, and keep the floral department clean and inviting.

You’ll help customers select the perfect blooms for any occasion, with floral design skills a big plus for crafting custom bouquets and displays. If you enjoy color, hands-on work, and making people smile, this role is for you.

Qualifications

• Familiar with floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements.
• Ability to engage with customers, uncover their needs, and translate their ideas into beautiful arrangements.
• Organizational skills to maintain clean, efficient workspaces and manage inventory and supplies.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Familiarity with floral tools, helium tanks, and basic point-of-sale systems.
