Job summary

ShopRite of Pennington is seeking a Floral Manager to direct and supervise all Floral Department functions under the General Store Manager. You will lead Associates, ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance, and drive sales and customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires strong people skills, ability to manage inventory and pricing, and dedication to providing world-class service. Indoor/outdoor work and lifting up to 60 lbs are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust/cleaning agents.
• Ability to engage and lead associates to achieve department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Floral Department functions to meet goals (sales, profit, customer experience).
• Lead associates to maintain safety, presentation, and efficiency in department operations.
• Ensure accurate pricing, inventory, and displays; monitor quality and freshness of products.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold company service priorities.
