Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Floral Department Manager in a fast-paced retail setting. You will oversee daily floral operations, ensuring beautiful, fresh product and exceptional customer experiences for everyday moments and special occasions.

You will lead a team, manage product selection, design flowers, and execute seasonal displays while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Floral Department operations with focus on service, creativity and readiness.
• Assist with product selection, custom orders, events, and consultations.
• Design, prepare, and merchandise floral arrangements, bouquets, gift items, and seasonal programs.
• Execute division merchandising plans, seasonal sets, holiday programs, and promotional displays.
• Maintain fresh, visually appealing displays with accurate signage and pricing.
• Monitor plant health, hydration, freshness, and presentation standards.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, markdowns, and waste tracking.
• Oversee receiving, conditioning, rotation, and cooler organization.
• Build and manage schedules aligned with sales and labor targets.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop floral associates while fostering teamwork.
