Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets is seeking a friendly floral team member to help create an enjoyable shopping experience for customers. If you love flowers and working with people, you’ll fit right in.

You’ll receive shipments, snip and display flowers, advise on combos for occasions, arrange bouquets, and coordinate local deliveries while upholding high service standards and teamwork in our store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years or older.
• Complete a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Creating an all around enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
• Receiving shipments, and then snipping and displaying our flowers.
• Topping up watering solutions to enhance our flowers' life spans.
• Advising clients on possible flower combinations.
• Providing occasion-specific flower suggestions.
• Carefully arranging palatable bouquets for purchase.
• Packaging clients' flowers to prevent breakages.
• Instructing clients on suitable transporting and feeding processes.
• Coordinating all regional flower deliveries.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge about flower handling techniques

These qualifications will help you stand out

• Previous experience in a floral department or similar position
• Completion of a Botany-related course is highly advantageous
