Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets Inc. in Hood River, OR is seeking a floral department team member to create an enjoyable shopping experience and guide customers in selecting bouquets. You will receive and display flowers, care for life spans, and assist with deliveries and regional coordination.

The role emphasizes friendly, reliable teamwork with opportunities for growth and community involvement within our stores.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18+ years old and pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Creating an all around enjoyable shopping experience for customers
• Receiving shipments, and then snipping and displaying flowers
• Topping up watering solutions to enhance flowers life spans
• Advising clients on possible flower combinations
• Providing occasion-specific flower suggestions
• Carefully arranging palatable bouquets for purchase
• Packaging clients' flowers to prevent breakages
• Instructing clients on suitable transporting and feeding processes
• Coordinating all regional flower deliveries
• Performing other duties as assigned
