FLORAL/CLERK (Finance)

Minimum requirements:

  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to read shelf tags, signs, labels, and training materials.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work professionally at all organizational levels.
  • Personal initiative and follow-through.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Skills related to product merchandising and customer service.
  • Ability to safely handle cleaning solutions, sharp tools, and operate equipment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of employment laws and safety regulations.
  • Experience in grocery retail and customer service.
  • Experience operating a cash register and handling transactions.
  • Promptly greet and assist customers with excellent service.
  • Be courteous, tactful, and professional in all interactions.
  • Assist in designing and creating floral arrangements and other customer orders.
  • Package orders safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain merchandise, supplies, and customer records properly.
  • Help customers locate and select items.
  • Handle calls and orders courteously and promptly.
  • Assist in decorating and merchandising the department.
  • Organize carts, tools, and supplies.
  • Keep floors clean, safe, and clutter-free.
  • Maintain plants, prepare flower arrangements, and fill balloons.
  • Ensure proper signage, product rotation, freshness, and space allocation.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Operate the cash register as per procedures.
  • Work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
