Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist in the United States. You will engage customers, understand project needs, and guide them to product solutions while explaining features, promotions, and financing options.

You will be the store's product expert, supporting sales, installations, and service delivery in departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more. The role emphasizes customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience, or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe's retail if education not met.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write and do basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule installations, and follow up on projects.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors and stores to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing/documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
