Job summary

Regent Flooring Kitchen & Bath is seeking an experienced Flooring Sales Consultant to join our Pennington showroom. This full-time role focuses on advising homeowners, contractors, and builders on hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, laminate, and carpet selections, from consultation through installation coordination.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of flooring sales experience, strong product knowledge, excellent customer service, and proven negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of flooring sales experience.
• Knowledge of hardwood, carpet, luxury vinyl plank, tile, and laminate.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and email platforms.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with homeowners, contractors, and builders to assess flooring needs and recommend materials.
• Demonstrate knowledge across flooring types including hardwood, LVP, tile, and carpet.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and product selections for projects.
• Manage the full sales process from inquiry to installation coordination.
• Maintain communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with installers to ensure measurements and timelines.
• Handle pricing discussions, negotiations, and closing of sales.
• Maintain showroom displays and product samples.
