Job summary

Lowe's Sales Specialists are frontline, helping customers identify products and transform ideas into reality. You’ll gather project needs, explain features and financing options, and close sales with consultative service.

You’ll rotate through departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more, with responsibilities spanning customer service, orders, and training peers to achieve store goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external, or 18 months Lowe's if education not met).
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining benefits of Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, process and track orders/installations, and follow up for project completion.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to find merchandise and order stock.
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and department requests.
• Train associates with on-the-job coaching on the Sales floor.
