Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is actively seeking Sales Associates to provide friendly, accurate service and help customers find products for their projects.

The role offers a minimum base pay of $15.00 per hour with higher starting pay based on experience, and both full-time and part-time positions are available. Responsibilities include engaging customers, maintaining stocked, clean sales areas, processing transactions at POS, and supporting store teams to reach sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Drug test may be required where state law allows for heavy equipment certification.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas and keep it clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Demonstrate company safety processes and compliance.
• Answer telephone according to guidelines.
• Assist in other store areas as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
