Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and help them pick the right products to complete their home improvement goals. You’ll be the product expert, sharing specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales while delivering friendly, proactive service in a dynamic store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or equivalent with education not met).
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic; stand for long periods.
• Able to lift 25 lbs minimum; team lifts for heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and highlighting Lowe’s products and services.
• Serve as a department contact for customers and vendors; provide estimates and process orders.
• If in Pro Dept, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers on the sales floor.
• Train associates in the department on the sales floor.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
