Job summary

Lumber Liquidators is hiring a results-driven Retail Sales Associate in Queens, NY. You will help customers design floors and spaces they love, driving sales and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced showroom.

Responsibilities include selling, upselling, managing inventory, and handling POS transactions while creating a welcoming shopping experience. Flexible scheduling and participation in promotions are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years retail or sales experience preferred; flooring knowledge a plus.
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a bonus.
• Forklift certification required prior to operation.

Responsibilities

• Sell, upsell, and exceed revenue targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Build lasting relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
• Merchandise and maintain an inspiring, organized showroom.
• Handle POS transactions, inventory management, and daily store operations.
• Resolve customer questions and issues quickly and professionally.
• Participate in promotional events and special projects to boost sales.
