Job summary

WinnCompanies seeks a General Maintenance Technician - Flooring Specialist I for Fort Campbell, KY. You will assist with flooring installation, demolition, and repairs during COM, and perform related tasks to support property operations.

Responsibilities include installing carpet, vinyl and tile, updating work orders on mobile devices, and ensuring site safety and quality. A REAL ID compliant license is required to access the federal facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience (trade experience, apprentice experience, etc.).
• Must demonstrate basic competency in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades at a minimum as assessed through written, verbal and hands on assessments.
• Must qualify as “skilled” based on assessment in flooring cleaning, repair, or installation.
• A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards.
• Ability to read and write in English to understand basic instructions and take direction from supervisors.
• In accordance with the REAL ID Act, a REAL ID compliant driver's license / ID is required to access the federal facility.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Service/COM requirements and property management requirements.
• Repair, clean, and install flooring (carpet, hard surface, or other).
• Update work order status, including time, materials and notes on mobile devices.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Keep supervisor informed of activities, results, problems identified, and potential problems, with recommended corrective actions.
• Maintain vehicle and vehicle inventory as prescribed.
• Transport, install, and connect stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other appliances.
