West Shore Home is seeking a Flooring Installer for on-site work in Baltimore, MD. The role covers loading, travel to homes, removing old flooring, installing new floors and trim, and ensuring a clean job site while delivering a 5-star customer experience.

Candidates should have experience in flooring/carpentry or a strong willingness to learn, along with basic hand/power tool skills and a valid driver’s license. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customer homes, greet customers and establish rapport.
• Demo and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors and trim.
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.

Position: Flooring Installer
Location: Baltimore, MD
Schedule: Monday-Friday with a start time of 6:30 AM

Purpose of Position:

The Flooring Installer will assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol while providing customers with a 5-star experience.

Key Role Accountabilities:

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse

Compensation:

• The approximate hourly for this position is $18-$24 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience installing window/doors, carpentry, remodeling, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s Licenseand reliable transportation
