Job summary

Solar Contract Carpet is seeking a Flooring Installation Supervisor to oversee installation crews, maintain high quality standards, and support installers in the field. This leadership role leverages extensive installation experience to guide projects and ensure customer satisfaction.

Travel will be required, with day trips and extensive coverage across Michigan. Candidate must coordinate with customers and internal teams, coach installers, and ensure schedules run smoothly while upholding

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of flooring installation experience.
• Experience installing carpet, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, sheet vinyl, or related products.
• Prior experience leading crews or supervising projects is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of flooring installation best practices and quality standards.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, installers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support multiple flooring installation crews.
• Visit job sites to ensure installations meet quality standards.
• Perform quality control inspections on in-progress and completed jobs.
• Assist installers with questions, concerns, and problem resolution.
• Coordinate with customers, account managers, customer service, and crews for smooth projects.
• Identify issues and develop corrective action plans.
• Provide coaching and training to installers on techniques and professionalism.
• Prepare inspection reports and clearly communicate findings.
• Organize installation schedules based on crew availability and workload.
