Job summary

DCO Commercial Floors is seeking an Estimator in Atlanta, GA to support sales and operations with accurate quantity takeoffs, pricing, and proposals for commercial flooring projects. Reporting to the Senior Estimator, you will help ensure bids reflect project requirements and margins while coordinating with sales, operations, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate takeoffs using digital software for flooring projects (flooring, wall base, finishes)
• Assemble proposal packages with scope, pricing, clarifications, alternates and inclusions
• Obtain pricing from vendors and apply margins per project strategy
• Manage bid timelines and communicate delays or obstacles
• Maintain organized estimating files using standardized systems and templates
• Identify missing information and generate RFIs as needed
• Support estimating team and respond to requests from Senior Estimators, Sales, or Project Managers
• Continuously improve speed, accuracy, and technical knowledge across projects
