Job summary

Artisan Design Group (ADG) is seeking a Flooring Estimator to support project planning by producing accurate material take-offs and cost estimates for flooring projects. You will work with internal teams and vendors to gather details, analyze specs, and deliver timely proposals.

The ideal candidate can read plans, use Excel to build estimates, and manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic estimating tools.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate material take-offs and cost estimates for flooring projects.
• Review construction drawings and bid documents to reflect current scope.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing and current material costs.
• Develop and maintain estimating templates for consistency.
• Utilize estimating software and Excel to generate proposals.
• Monitor requests and deliver proposals on time to support timelines.
