Job summary

Atlanta Flooring Design Centers Inc is seeking an Estimator II under the VP of Pre-construction to perform estimating tasks, gather project details, and generate accurate flooring estimates. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include reading construction documents, knowing carpet, hardwood, vinyl, ceramic tile/stone, using RFMS Measure, Excel, and Outlook, and preparing submittals, takeoffs,

Qualifications

• Experience reading construction documents.
• Knowledge of floor covering products: carpet, hardwood, vinyl, ceramic tile/stone.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Outlook and estimating software.
• Ability to build profitable, executable flooring assemblies.
• Detail oriented with strong prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Download and organize project data, takeoffs, and pricing for bids.
• Prepare and set up measurement files per SOP and directives.
• Compile data, pricing, and submittals; ensure bids meet deadlines.
• Monitor changes from GC and follow up on submitted pricing.
• Assist with administrative pre-construction duties as assigned.
