Job summary

American Tile And Marble Inc. is seeking a results-driven Estimator to deliver accurate residential and commercial flooring estimates with a strong focus on customer service. The role supports commercial, residential and new construction projects and may be subcontracted; pay is negotiable based on experience.

You will measure rooms, determine quantities, and prepare detailed estimates using our estimation tools while maintaining trust and clear communication with clients and store teams.

Qualifications

• Flooring knowledge includes tile, wood, laminate, LVP and carpet.
• Proficient in basic software: Excel, Word, QuickBooks and MS Office.
• Ability to manage schedules and build customer relationships.
• Strong self-motivation and sales-driven attitude.
• Must be a self-starter capable of working with limited supervision.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Estimate quantities, specify installation products and labor charges.
• Learn and use company estimation software quickly.
• Apply knowledge of retail and sales concepts in estimating.
• Measure for tile, laminate, carpet, LVT and wood.

We are looking for a customer centered individual to join our growing flooring services company in the role of Estimator. The primary responsibility of this person will be to provide outstanding customer service and deliver excellence in residential and commercial estimating services for our clients.

Our company provides Commercial, Residential and new construction flooring services.

This is a full time position – Pay based on experience and is negotiable. This could be a subcontracted position.

Responsibilities

• Works with estimating tools, determines quantities, and specifies appropriate installation products and labor charges.
• Ability to learn company software and utilize quickly.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of retail and sales concepts, practices, and procedures
• Experience measuring for Tile, laminate, carpet, LVT, wood.
• Prepares detailed customer measurements while establishing trust and credibility and informing customer of expectations.
• Reports information and responds to questions from stores, customers, co-workers and vendors daily.
• Prioritizes and manages commitments and adjusts to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Flooring knowledge to include but not limited to: Tile, wood, laminate, LVP, Carpet.
• Basic computer/software skills in Quickbooks, Word, Excel, and MS Office. Experience with Measure Square or other estimating programming a plus.
• Manage, schedule and customer relationships.
• Self-Confidence, Motivation for Sales
• Self-starter and self-motivated ability to work with limited supervision.
• Valid driver’s license

• Flooring Estimation: 2 years (Preferred)
• construction estimating : 2 years (Preferred)
• onsite blue print estimation : 2 years (Preferred)
