Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Consultant to meet with customers, understand project needs, and craft creative design concepts that reflect clients’ style, lifestyle, and budget. You will educate customers on requirements and build lasting relationships while promoting our flooring products and services.

This role focuses on consultative design, appointment scheduling, and collaboration with store teams to deliver complete design solutions for residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Degree in design is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with in-store design needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele.
• Advise on tile, wood, stone and accessories for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional design solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with clear communication and follow-up.
• Use company tools and emails consistently and accurately.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
