Job summary

A Quality Facility Services is hiring Floor Care Technicians in Canton, OH, offering a second-shift schedule 5:00 PM–1:00 AM and pay of $25–$28 per hour based on experience. No floor care experience required as training is provided.

This role trains you in stripping, waxing, carpet cleaning, tile and grout care, upholstery, and deep cleaning, with opportunities to travel to new contracts and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a service-based industry preferred.
• Willing to learn new skills and operate specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

Your Schedule

This is a second-shift position working approximately 5:00 PM–1:00 AM.

Because this role consistently works evenings, we are looking for candidates who have previously worked night, evening, or overnight shifts and understand the schedule and lifestyle that come with second-shift work.

What You’ll Learn & Do

We will train you to safely and effectively perform specialized floor care and cleaning services, including:

• Stripping, waxing, buffing, and scrubbing floors
• Carpet cleaning and extraction
• Tile and grout cleaning and sealing
• Upholstery and furniture cleaning
• Post-construction and deep cleaning
• Interior and exterior window cleaning
• General janitorial and specialty cleaning projects
• Proper operation and care of professional floor equipment
• Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and work areas
• Assisting team members with special projects throughout our service area

Help Us Launch New Contracts

As A Quality Facility Services continues to grow, our Floor Care Technicians also have the opportunity to assist with the startup of new customer contracts.

This may involve traveling to new service locations to help prepare facilities and ensure our new contracts get off to a successful start. Depending on the location, occasional overnight stays may be required.

For qualifying overnight startup assignments, additional compensation such as per diem will be provided.
