Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate components and assemble finished products according to customer specifications. You will set up the work area and operate hand tools to complete assemblies.

Maintain a clean, safe workspace, inspect materials for quality, record production data, and follow safety and quality procedures. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to procedures, with involvement in continuous improvement initiatives and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Set up work area and assemble parts per instructions and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stack completed products and label/band components as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; ensure equipment is safe to operate.
• Complete pre-shift inspections and report any issues; maintain production records.
