Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate parts or assemble finished products to customer specifications at our Ohio facility. You will set up the work area, verify components, and use hand tools to complete assembly while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to safety standards, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives, with opportunities to learn manufacturing processes and grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience is required; 6 months manufacturing/assembling preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate component parts or assemble finished products to customer specifications.
• Set up work area and align parts per instructions and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stack finished products; label and band as required.
• Keep the work area safe, clean and organized; ensure equipment is safe to operate.
• Complete pre-shift startup inspections and report problems.
• Maintain production records and follow safety/quality procedures.
• Participate in safety and CI programs and other meetings.
